Industry and community partners help further our mission, while exposing real estate students to relevant coursework and experiential learning opportunities that align with their passions and career aspirations.

The Real Estate Advisory Board at the W. P. Carey School of Business consists of real estate executives and alumni who provide input on curriculum, training, pragmatic research needs, and major fundraising activities. They serve as guest speakers for courses and student organizations and mentor students wishing to pursue fulfilling careers in real estate.

The Real Estate Council brings together alumni and industry leaders committed to advancing real estate education, research, and service to the industry. Members play a pivotal role in reimagining the future of real estate and shaping the industry's trajectory to ensure that it stays adaptive, informed, and forward-thinking.

  Community engagement opportunities

The center acts as a major convener and an invaluable community resource for industry and academic experts in real estate. We bring together community leaders, practitioners, and academic researchers to discuss approaches and solutions to current and future real estate challenges.

We host recurring events, including a Real Estate Council Breakfast series. Join us to discuss relevant real estate topics and fundraise for student support. Our community is actively involved on campus and beyond.

Graduates of the Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) and our undergraduate programs can join the W. P. Carey Real Estate Council to provide input on real estate education and continue their learning.

MRED alumni are automatically part of the MRED alumni chapter upon graduation. The Chapter helps graduates stay connected with cohort peers and the program through networking and fundraising opportunities. In featured alumni stories, MRED graduates share their thoughts on the program and what's next in their field
